What to expect

A cold cucumber side with lime, soy and sesame dressing. This version follows the single recipe source below. Not tested by Rice & Sizzle.

Ingredients to know

English cucumber means the long cucumber specified by the source. Cilantro is coriander leaf. This version uses sesame oil, not sesame seeds; no substitution between the two has been verified. The source names its own branded sauces; readers should check the labels of the products they actually use.

Allergen notes

Contains sesame and soy. Soy sauce can also contain wheat. Check sauce, oil and chilli labels for other allergens and cross-contact information; no gluten-free or other allergen-free guarantee is made.

Alongside

See vegetable nasi goreng with acar or vegetable mie goreng for warm dishes. Both remain not tested by Rice & Sizzle. The 15-minute chill is a preparation step, not a verified leftover-storage allowance.
